![]() One can beat the opponents army to almost nothing, but still lose the war due to losing the battle objective. Also, I have not come across a game before that allows you to "win a battle but lose the war". The lay of land, rivers, cliffs etc., all have a really big impact on how the battle will end up. I do, so I did not mind trial and error and looking why and how the system works. I do not get the hate.ģ) Battle system: yes - it could use a bit more tutorials for people who do not enjoy learning a game system by doing. _ALL_ of these games to beat the AI on harder difficulties one has to find a way to game the weaknesses of the AI (which like in this one - is battle) They even have difficulty options where the handicap is give _to the player_ and not the AI. ![]() Considering it is 1st of its kind from the developer it is a great success! (Theas have similarities, but are not similar game system wise).Ģ) "The game is unfair and AI cheats" - _ALL_ of these games the AI cheats. ![]() I do not get the hate this game has received.ġ) It is a great entry to the Civ-type games, which we really do not have too many around. ![]()
